It is very much better than any others I have purchased. The larger size with better batteries makes a big difference. The memory is very good , is easy to use and is - overall - good value for money.

I have tried several different machines of this type and they ranged from awful to very very awful. This one is very good. The ability to find words with missing letters quickly is what I wanted and this does just that. The other features are a welcome bonus and there are lots of them.
Only downside is the size which is a bit largish. If you are not looking for a very small unit then get this.

I have used Seiko crossword solvers for many years and as I am a heavy user they finally wear out. My previous one, the ER3600, has not worn out as I gave up on it for being slow with unresponsive keys; a real pain. It was only after reading reviews on Amazon that I decided to stick with Seiko and, with fingers crossed, boought the ER3700.
You would not think it was made by the same company as the earlier model. It is superbly fast with none of the shortcomings of the other model. A joy to use.
