Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

The Conduit takes players into a dark story in Washington D.C. after a vicious alien invasion has rocked the country. An organisation called the Trust has sent in Secret Service agent, Mr. Ford, to go up against the insect-like alien race known as "The Drudge." Armed with an array of futuristic weaponry and an intelligence-gathering device simply called the "All-Seeing Eye," players follow an intricate maze filled with conspiracy, shady government activity and terrifying aliens.

The Conduit's detailed control system allows players to customise and configure their controls, including look sensitivity, turning speed, the dead zone and much more. As players delve further into the mystery behind the extraterrestrial invasion, shocking details reveal that the invasion may have been brought on with help from the government itself.

Powered by High Voltage Software's groundbreaking Quantum 3 engine, The Conduit ensures that players will experience single and multiplayer gameplay with graphical fidelity never seen before on the Wii. The Conduit will also support the recently announced Wii Speak peripheral, allowing online multiplayer gamers the ability to chat as they destroy aliens in each terrifying level.

Fun:
Following a slightly clichéd story, the Conduit has you tackling wave after wave of aliens and bad guys in suits in an ultimately fun and attractive adventure.

The graphics and controls are what set this game above other attempts at bringing a good FPS to the Wii - you can tell they've spent considerable time and effort tweaking everything to work well, and it shows.

The single-player is easily capable of keeping you occupied for many hours, but it's the many multiplayer modes that the game's huge replay value really come from.

The online action is relentless, lagfree and very addictive - you have been warned!

All in all, just what the Wii needs, and here's to a follow up!

Fun:
The Conduit finally arrives on the Wii, and it is a fine looking game. You play Michael Ford, who has the joy of finding himself in the front line of an alien invasion. Cue a reason to go about and killing everything - great fun. The enemies in the single player mode are annoying, but in a good way. They flank, retreat and move forward depending on how you react. Rather than just stand about in the same place waiting to shoot you. Or you to to shoot them as the case maybe.
Online is where this came does come alive. 12 players battles and a number of modes to choose from, and the inclusion of the Wii Speak as well, which is a nice touch to this game. This lets you chat to your friends, and if your playing a Team Game, you can talk tactics with each other. The system for adding friends in this game puts any other games that were released before this to shame. So long as they are in your Wii's Friend List, you can add them straight to the game.
There is a few niggles with this game. Most of the rooms you will go into do look the same. But then again, when are you going to stop in the middle of a fight in the middle of a FPS and go: you know what? this room seems familiar. And a few times I have joined a match that is happening online, I have gotten a black screen, and I had to restart my Wii. But other than that, this is a good FPS game for the Wii.

Excellent shooter 16 April 2010
Fun:
Excellent shooter this one, take out the bad guys, the ugly alien looking guys etc, use your ase (all seeing eye) to help you through doors and help save the president. All in a days work, great fun blasting the heck out of the aliens, i fear nobody when i have my strike rifle :). Loads of levels, loads of fun , although it is quite tricky,i would advise putting it on easy to get most fun out of the game. Its more fun to do the nailing as opposed to being nailed.

1.5 hours playing in... This is more like it. Great fun 1st person shoot-em-up. Very similar to half-life (which is no bad thing) and suits the wii platform really well.

Great game, best fps on the wii
When it comes to wii games, I don't want to play just kiddy games all the time, luckily for me there are many mature rated games on the console which are very good. Read more

Good graphics, top shoot em up.
Not the greatest I've played, but for the Wii and the price you can't fault it. Just get stuck in and enjoy it for what it is.

The levels are hard, but not so hard you get bored.. you want to try it again and again until you complete it. Read more
