Magic on the Breath (2011) [published by The Wolfenhowle Press]
Staying on the Old Track (2012) [published by The Wolfenhowle Press]There are many books to help us when we're starting out, but what happens once we've made a start and then ground to a halt? Tylluan knows only too well from the letters and emails she receives, that this is a common problem and is one of the reasons she wrote 'Staying on the Old Track.'

Tylluan also writes children's fiction with a witchy/pagan background or setting as T.P. Penry, and three of her books can be bought on Kindle:
The Dolly Run
Stalker's Moon
Silent Night, Deadliest Night

Tylluan's interests and knowledge are wide-ranging and eclectic. Plants, Psychic Self Defence, Runes, the ancient Classical World and ever further back into the Iron, Bronze and even Ice Ages, Anglo Saxon Charms and even writing one's own spells and rituals, are all things that fascinate her.

Life is never dull around Tylluan, she knows it's the little things that inspire, that make the Craft come alive and dance! She is a wife, mother and grandmother, and combines being down to earth and practical with a sense of calm and inner wisdom. Basically she is everything a wise woman should be - plus she has a wicked sense of humour!

Product Description

The author has been seeking the Green for most of her life. What this meant in practice was that she was drawn to every aspect of the pagan path that touched upon Nature, the natural world, and its deities, becoming aware of the green landscape that underlies and surrounds towns, cities and factories. In this book she shares what she has learned and experienced; finding and making green gateways that would take her on magical journeys where she could learn more about the mysteries that surround us. Looking at and listening to the natural world. Strengthening your inner self, psychic self defence, working with the Green world - both the physical such as the uses of trees and the otherworldly such as fairies, the element, festivals ans symbols are all covered here plus spellworking and much more. As you read through these pages, you will see that this path is intended for people working on their own, meaning you will never find things you cannot do without a partner or group; everything in Seeking the Green is designed for solitaries, but can of course be carried out by couples or groups. Years of experience, sound wisdom and commonsense run throughout the book - it reads like having a calm experienced guide right beside you.

This book is just wonderful- a true gem! Its so helpful and informative, honest, and so easy to read. I've read many other books on paganism in my time, but none quite as good as this! Its a must have for anyone- especially for beginners, but even for people like me who are not beginners but who just want that one book that encompasses just about everything! Penry is a true inspiration!

7 of 8 people found the following review helpful By M. Collins on 19 Aug. 2008
Format: Paperback
Tylluan Penry has created a fabulous guide and I feel this is an excellent book for someone that has acquired a sound basic knowledge of the subject, decides they wish to go further, and needs guidance how to go about it, but does not want a heavy academic read. It says it all in a clear, to the point, no nonsense and practical language.

I love this book and all the knowledge that came with it - everything I have wanted to know and more! It's one of the rare books that's hard to put down. I would recommend it to anyone new, old or curious. SUPERB!
