4.0 out of 5 stars LTJ don't disappoint with this new release 30 Dec 2013
By The D
Format:Audio CD
I've been a fan of LTJ since my teens, and am impressed how they have managed to keep me interested all of these years. They are one of the few bands from my childhood that I still buy the albums of. After reading other reviews from Amazon.com I was convinced to get this album for Christmas, and I am very pleased with it. The band manage to bring back some of the familiar sounds of "Hello Rockview" and "Borders and Boundaries" and infuse that with recent releases like "GNV FLA", so all the songs on this album sound new and fresh. Some of my favourites punk bands from the 90s/early 00s sound a bit the same to me these days, so I'm glad that LTJ aren't falling into that category.
Highly recommended album.

5.0 out of 5 stars BRILLIANT! 11 Nov 2013

(disclaimer: Im far from an impartial reviewer...been a huge fan of LTJ since discovering Losing Streak when it came out some 17 years ago.)

I dont know how they do it. But they do it. LTJ consistently creates amazing albums which absolutely rock from the 1st listen to the 100th. 'See the Light' is AWESOME!!!! If you are a fan, its a no brainer, you'll love it. If you arent, check out "My Money is on The Long Shot" (i think its the first single from this disc) to get a feel of their sound....its feel-good, upbeat, rocking, amazingtastic tunage!!!

Peace .n. Pez

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album. 15 Jan 2014

As a big Less Than Jake fan, I found this album personally to be the best since Hello Rockview. A few songs such as "The Loudest Songs" and "Bless the Cracks" took more time to grow on me, a handful of these songs have a more 'ska' feel to them including lyrics and music. Favorites include Jump, My Money is on the Long Shot, American Idle, A Short History Lesson, and Weekends All Year Long.

5.0 out of 5 stars LTJ 12 Dec 2013
By Peter - Published on Amazon.com

Love some Less than Jake. Ever since hearing them play live in 1997, I have purchased every album. Along the way, there have been albums that disappointed a bit that lacked the horns. Well this album brings back what most fans love about LTJ. Great buy

4.0 out of 5 stars Obvious Purchase for Fans 14 Nov 2013
By Kehoe - Published on Amazon.com
Exactly what you would expect out of a Less Than Jake album. If you are a fan, just buy it, you will be happy with it.

If you are new to the band, this album wouldn't be a terrible starting point. But I think you would be better off starting with Hello Rockview or maybe Anthem.
