This book focuses only on Sun sign horoscopes, ignoring the aspects, cusps and other planetary positions. As a textbook of popular astrology, it is the most comprehensive. It includes the basic information of each sign, especially the Yin/Yang polarity, opposite signs and comparatively-realistic compatibility assessment. It isn't as deep as the Enigma series of pocket-sized books, and cannot be considered to be portraying serious astrology. There is indeed some truth to the pages. If you're not interested in serious astrology and would rather enjoy a light-hearted read so that you can pretend to be an astrological expert in parties, this should be in your arsenal. Well, at least it helps you make friends. Do not mix its contents with serious astrology, or it will confuse you. The only useful information it contains for a serious astrologer are the basic information (e.g. which signs are Cardinal, which signs are Extroverted, which signs oppose each other, etc), not the detailed analysis.
