If you ever wondered what really goes on. . .,

My name is David Clifford, I was 'Morten Harket' from 'a-ha' in the May 2000 final. I was sent a copy of this book as I feature in it, and I have to say that it really captures the essence of the show. The quotes are accurate as far as I remember, and I found that it really serves to bring those memories flooding back. This book is a must for all budding contestants - read between the lines, and it even tells you how to get on the show!! (That's all I'm saying!!) The book is well constructed and even contains technical information that I didn't know. I feel very fortunate and honoured to have been a contestant at that time, the book is a wonderful keepsake for me, oh and as I recall the author was a lovely lady.

With a foreword by Matthew Kelly, this colourful book is a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at Stars in Their Eyes. With some excellent photos and interesting anecdotes, it is a must for anyone who has been involved with the show, as well as viewers and any Stars in Their Eyes hopefuls.

This fascinating insight into "Stars" makes great reading for all those who wonder how it all works. There's no doubt now of the show's cult status, a book about it has just come at the right time and I think it will do well. I myself was on the show (1998 as Gerry Marsden) but didn't get in the book(damn!) The book is good quality and well written, all the family will want a read-it looks good too.An absolute must for contestants who've been on the show.
