I'm actually in the process of re-reading this book as some things didn't seem clear first off.
A good bit of relay from the first book, which is to be expected to get the gist of it. I don't feel all is explained though. Dannion found himself in an inbetween world on his third near death experience. This one was not pleasant with men women and children seemingly trapped in a blue/grey place where they relive the last days of their earthly lives over and over. Yet he says we all have loved ones or some sort of angel looking after us - that we are never alone. If this is so why haven't they helped those who are trapped? This wasn't explained - if it was I missed it. Where I found the first book comforting I didn't this one. I don't feel it was explained properly. Dannion gives advice about how we should live our lives, which is all well and good, but it isn't guaranteed to keep us from the blue/grey place. Not from the way I read it anyway. A bit of a let down, but still an interesting read. Maybe I'm just disappointed the other side isn't as nice as I want it to be lols!
