Ann Marie reaches into the heart where others don't. She is sharp witted, kind and has obviously 'been there,' done it and tried again ten times over, until it has made sense.

We have the benefits of her experience in a unique, insightful manner, put together intelligently and with great expertise.

Her great-heartedness shines through in a skilful way, with humour, in a non-patronising fashion and great encouragement throughout to have a go, with much to gain and little to lose except time and effort, really makes a difference to a great read.

It can be 'pick up and put down' or read straight through. I recommend either, as long as it's one or the other. We can only benefit from the reality that the book teaches us - to let go of stress and to be who we are, for the struggle to be so is not easy in this day and age. We can forget, but Ann Marie leads the way in a soft and unchallenging, straightforward and down to earth approach.

One for the coffee table, men and women alike. I loved it.

Something for Everyone 17 July 2003
Format:Paperback
It's quite easy to get cynical about 'self-help' books, panacea's for all ills, regularly parodied on sit-coms and associated with hugging trees, kafthans and turquoise tracksuits.

So why did I enjoy this one? Well, it has a more down to earth approach, the author has a very chatty writing style and it was enetrtaining as well as trying to teach me how to de-stress myself!

It's not a novel, so take your time. keep an open mind and enjoy!
