I didn't finish LG's last release, the final in a trilogy, as the others had been dire. I didn't really want to get this one, but I've read everything she's done, or at least have tried to, and this really, really is the nail in the coffin for me.
Like I said, this is not a full review, as by 5 pages into the tale, I knew I'd read this before, but additionally, there was a touch of 'the creeps' in it.
As per the LG staple, the male lead was a billionaire, Greek, an orphan and an entrepreneur. In his eyes, the female lead was not only a gold-digger and thief, but possibly also a sugar-baby. Ok. That was bad enough, but on the next few pages, it seemed as if the potential sugar-daddy really did have designs on the female lead, which grossed me out. At this point, I decided that I'd read enough, and in fact, the 'hotel employee/hotel takeover' thing has been done by LG before, as well as the 'I found another man in my wife's bed' thing too, so not worth revisiting.
