Do be aware, this book appears to be the same as Patrick Harpur's previous and similarly titled: "A Complete Guide to the Soul". I bought it having read all of his other works and was eagerly awaiting his next book. I was a few pages into it before thinking to myself: this sounds familiar. The layout is the same, the chapter headings, everything. There are some changes to the endnotes and additions to the bibliography, which suggests there may also have been revisions to the main text, but it's essentially the same book.
Still a great read, so it still gets four stars, but if you've already read "A Complete Guide" then you've already read this one.

Very good as one would expect from Mr Harpur ,however do beware as this is exactly the same as his earlier book 'The Complete Guide to the Soul' .It seems to be the American edition of that work .
