What an excellent book- perfect for a child who is coming up to the age where the tooth fairy will be visiting- brillant idea for a birthday present. Each page has something on for the child to explore. Would highly recommend- my daughter loves it
It is a beautifully written and illustrated book. It arrived just in time, 2 days before my daughter's wobbly tooth fell out. We sat down in the evening and i read a book to her (she could have done it herself but i wanted her to just relax and enjoy the story).
The story is about Lily who would love to become a new Secret Tooth Fairy, but she is unsure if the has the right fairy skills. The more experienced fairies agree to help Lily to test her skills while testing their own skills too (they have to be very quite, have good hunting skills as teeth can be hidden in funny places, they must have special night flying skills to cross a dark bedroom...)At the end Lily becomes a real tooth fairy.
The book has pop ups on each page, and some goodies like stick on earings, shimmery stars (to make a trail to where the tooth is hidden), pink tooth fairy bag for the tooth, shiny nail tattoos, door hanger that says "dear secret fairy, i have tooth ready for collection, please, stop here", a hair clip, tooth fairy booklet, fairy mirror. Fab!
My 5.5yo daughter thoroughly enjoyed, and i had to make a late night trip to sainsburys, as the tooth fairy got caught unprepared! My daughter was well excited, bless, i am sure you little girls will love it too.
