We bought this set as a Christmas present for our 8 year old. He absolutely loved it and has spent every night since Christmas reading himself to sleep with them. The cover artwork has been nicely modernised, and the mystery stories are, of course, timeless. Each book normally sells for £3.99, this set was £11.49, for 10 books! Really excellent value for money.

The stories themselves are original Agatha, but the update of the covers is not good.
They give the impression that they are computer generated children.
As the stories are based in the 50's these covers do not look right.
Apart from this, the books are good value.

Bought this for an 8 year old, electronic game PSP / DS obsessed boy. I wasn't sure if it would go down well, but he loves the adventures and characters!!
