Product Description

Since his teenage years, Adam has struggled with a terrible, inescapable truth: he is hiding the secret of a distinctly feminine self from the world. Following a startling adventure with a much loved and very beautiful aunt, Adam spends twelve years nurturing this self in the privacy of his home. But now he has moved to a new city and been accepted into one of the country's most exclusive transvestite clubs, the Crème de la Crème. This, however, is only the beginning of a journey that will see Adam's secret self finally revealed in a series of highly erotic adventures and startling revelations. The Secret Self is a deeply sensuous and detailed study of the psychology of a tormented and beautiful transvestite and

also an exciting thriller. It will enthral cross dressers and their admirers everywhere.

From the Back Cover

The sense of exposure is immediate, terrible and deeply exciting. Bathed in the sodium glare of the street lighting, walking through pools of shadow, the night breeze gently caressing her nylon-sheathed legs, she feels hyper-real. She feels more alive and phusically in the world than at any other time in her life. And with each high-heeled step she takes, this almost ecstatic feeling strengthens. This she knows, is the first, startling revelation of her true feminine being.

Deeply disturbing. 28 Mar 2008
By Cele
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I picked up this book on the recommendation of a friend who shares my interest in cross-dressing. Having not read any books on the topic before I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I really didn't expect this.

The focus of the story, Eve, and her eventually-to-be-subsumed alter-ego Adam, embarks on a journey of unleashing her feminised self and going out into the world. The somewhat disturbing start of the journey, whereby the 13 year old Adam is engaged in sexual activity by his mother's sister, pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the metamorphosis from Adam to Eve. Eve is not just submissive but almost completely lacking any form of autonomy, and I found the move from pleasure in dressing up to total subjugation at the hands of anyone who tried lacking in any sort of detail that would help me understand why such behaviour was desired.

I was initially interested by the descriptions of the feelings relating to the transformation of Adam into Eve, but the descriptions became overused very quickly and I think I might have screamed had the words 'mincing' and 'pretty sissy petal' been used again.

I was disturbed by the conclusion of the book, where Eve submits to surgical alteration and enters the life of a prostitite with nary a backward glance. I couldn't believe it, even as a form of fantasy entertainment.

I'm a very open-minded reader who loves to explore topics around human behaviour and sexuality. This is the first time I've ever read a book that caused me to feel physically ill. Good luck to you if this sort of thing is your cup of tea, but it certainly wasn't mine.

Loved It 31 Dec 2009

This was the best. As a tranny wannabe and avid cross dresser/sissy, I loved every page of this novel. Christina Shelly really told a beautiful erotic story of Eve. The ultimate submissive TV that loved her Master & her Mistress. For those of you who like to dress up, I found this novel best read with a pair of silky panties on and your best silky stockings. It gives this novel that little extra something if you do.
Well written; Not what I was expecting 11 Mar 2011

If you like Domination, Spanking, and Incest, this book is for you. I did enjoy the details of dressing and the author did a great job in making you see the world through Eve's eyes. There were times I pictured myself as her. I didn't care for all the bondage, domination, and spanking that occured. I think it went over the top being way to submissive. I enjoyed her aunt and kind of wished I had an aunt that would help me dress. In my opinion though, some of the sexual acts between Eve and her aunt were unnecessary. And for someone being completely passable, why did it take to the upper 20's to finally go out in public? For crossdressers/ and transgenderists who don't care for domination/ bondage, you may want to read something else.
