4.0 out of 5 stars A big, shiny bouncy Ball , 7 Dec 2006
i'm a big fan of the green wing and the mighty boosh, who are obviously the best parts of the show. i'm also a russell brand convert - like the whole world, i thought he was a prancing ponce, but after watching this, i figure he's a prancing ponce who's damn good at stand-up. The David Armand and Natalie Imbruglia bit is inspired and though it's a shame, there are none of the Python crowd, i figure its a five star because its for amnesty international, who do damn fine things.

3.0 out of 5 stars Distinctly Patchy, 11 Jan 2007

Not so many big names as other "Balls" have produced, some of the acts I'd never heard of but on the whole they were some of the best. I wasn't keen on the Green Wing sketch but Russel Brand was a revelation and I'm now a convert. Others were distinctly patchy most noticeably Sarah Silverman.

4.0 out of 5 stars Refreshingly good, 8 May 2009

This dvd was very funny even though there are a few comics on the bill who frankly left the place quiet with embarracement at their awful jokes. The main awful one for me is the American female comic who's name slips my mind, she was dreadful but otherwise the line up is great especially the Green Wing part and the bit where they do live Cluedo. Well worth a look for all comedy fans.
