Product Description

Age Level: 9 - 12 | Grade Level: 4th and up

The name's Brody Valentine and I'm a secret agent, but just barely. You see, this is the story of my first "official" day as an agent with Glitch. Like most noobs, I was assigned the lamest case possible, but if you're familiar with my life, then you won't be surprised to hear that it ended up being the most brain melting thing I've ever been a part of. A kid known as the Soda Jerk has come out to play, and he's after something called the Horseshoe. Everybody refuses to tell me what the Horseshoe is, except that it's something I need to stay as far away from as possible... but in order to keep it out of the wrong hands, I've got to get it into my own. Now I'm in a race to find the most dangerous item in the school, but the more I learn about the Horseshoe, the more I regret taking the case.

Secret Agent 6th Grader 3: Extra Large Soda Jerk is a funny thriller that's entertaining for kids, middle school students, and adults.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly entertaining 4 Dec 2013
By Steve Mann - Published on Amazon.com

Secret Agent 6th Grader 3: Extra Large Soda Jerk was an enjoyable read. The illustrations were simple and complimented the easy-to-read narrative.

The story is about a 6th grader named Brody Valentine who joins a tongue-in-cheek agency that is bent on recovering an important object known only as "The Horseshoe". The story is full of humour and is written in such a way as to be enjoyable by an elementary school student. There is a lot of material in here that a youngster could relate to.

Probably the best part of this story is the pace of the plot and its simplicity. Mystery novels tend to get rather complicated in my opinion, which can be a big turn-off. This novel, however rates high in the readability factor.

This story doesn't take itself too seriously, as the school itself has elements of fantasy, with nooks and crannies that wouldn't ordinarily exist in an elementary school. The characters, though, are down-to-earth yet quirky, as humans normally tend to be.

I won't tell you what the great mystery object ends up being (that would ruin it), but it is very silly.

This book is great fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars extraordinarily extraordinary 18 Mar 2014
By JENNIFER THOMA - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
In my opinion I think the book was extremely well writren and well thought out. I adore the way the Marcus involves emotions that all of us would normaly feel in everyday life. Like the boredness of something that you would rejoice in being able to escape from or the exhilarating feeling of doing something scary or exciting. This book is a great read for all ages (though I would suggest ages twelve and below) everyone can eventually relate to the middle school environment. The characters were not something special or anything they were just kids who untill they were recruited by GLITCH were ordinary kids just worrying about the day to come. All of us if you were a normal kid could relate to that feeling. That in conclusion is why I proudly without regret rate five stars.
