Sophie King likes to weave lots of threads and then carefully bring them all together. In this book they start out together under the same roof of a converted family home and develop from there.

This is a lovely light hearted story, perfect for lazy sunny days by the pool. It's a joy to read, and the characters are well described, making the book really easy to get into. I had a few "can't put it down" moments, which for me signifies a good tale. Towards the end I had guessed what would happen, but there were a couple of little twists I didn't see coming. A happy book. Recommended.

I did enjoy this book, and wanted to read more after trying a sample - to find out more about the divorcee and her kids. Despite the predicatability of the story and some not too-good love scenes in the latter part, it's a feel-good readable little book.
