In this second and final part to Drew and Fable's story. They have been apart for two months. After Drew's stepmothers revelation he has turned in on himself. His life is falling apart, he's falling apart. Fable is miserable without Drew, and things at home are not any better with her mother. She's still paying all the bills and looking out for her younger brother Owen.
When she gets a better job in an upmarket restaurant, her and Drew's paths cross. The connection between them is still very strong, it's not long before they are tentatively starting to see one another. But can their relationship survive everything that's coming.
This second part is much more emotional than the first book, and is even better IMO. I love both Drew and Fable they are such sympathetic characters. Everything about this story is intense, and makes for essential reading. It's one of those stories that you just can't put down. The love scenes between Drew and Fable are sensuous and passionate. The supporting characters are excellent as well. I loved Fable's younger brother Owen he was very well written.
Ms. Murphy has become an author to watch IMO. I will definitely be reading more of her work
