I ordered this for my mums birthday, a nice looking bench however once put together the legs were quite bent and it needed varnishing. If the description had stated this i wouldnt have ordered it.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR MY MOTHER IN LAWS 95TH BIRTHDAY AND THE IRONWORK WAS BROKEN AND THE PACKAGING WAS COVERED UP IN A BLACK PLASTIC BAG, SOMEONE KNEW THIS WAS BROKEN BEFORE DELIVERY IT HAS BEEN RETURNED

Delivery was fantastic, arrived within 48 hours. However external packaging was damaged. Once opened we found that on checking the contents that there were some parts missing. i.e. the support struts, washers and nuts. The finished timber leaves a lot to be desired. ie edges missing, unsmooth sanding, no varnish on back of wood. Also the seat back has vertical pieces of wood which are totally different from the rest of the framework, in fact it is even a different thickness! It will do for the allotment because no family will use it or see it!

Received the bench 2 days after ordering. Arrived well packaged & COMPLETE. Assembly was easy even for one person. The final result was good looking, solid & well worth the money.
