I am sure that a lot of us have 'dabbled' with a Ouji board in our youth and been a bit spooked by it. Christina's friends decide to have a bit of fun with one and summon up a ghost from the past in the form of Beau Kidd, a cop who was killed by his partner,on suspicion of being a murderer.
Beau wants Christina to help him clear his name. She doesn't want to believe that she is not only talking to a spirit but actually helping to find evidence that he is innocent but Jed Braden who is skeptical of her claims to see ghosts, goes along with her theories initially because of the growing attraction between them. I enjoyed this book immensely and would read it again in the future.

this was a very good read that kept me reading for hours. the ouiji board captured my attention as i think we all at one point either have or want to dabble with the supernatural. christina and her friends do it with consequences; a dead detective invades her life asking for her help to clear his name and find a serial killer. the hot affair she has with jed, a hunky writer adds the romance to the novel.
