This is a brillant and very funny show I have not seen this DVD yet but it is the same show I saw at Ashcroft Theatre at fairfeild halls.

I loved Sean's Show and was sad when he didn't so stand up for a long time. But when Sean came back a couple of years ago, he was on fire. I saw him in Sydney and he was fantastic - it was an intimate venue and he held everyone in his hand (well, not literally). I can't understand how this DVD came to be produced the way it is. The material is tip top A1 stuff - hilarious. But the camerawork on the DVD does it no justice. The audience doesn't seem to be miked - you can hardly hear any laughter (so it can sometimes seem like he's corpsing, when he's not) and the audience interaction is not captured by the poorly positioned fixed cameras. The editing is also very poor. Sean and the material deserved a lot better than this DVD. Get it anyway - watch it with friends and your own laughter should compensate for the quietness on the DVD.
