It is very well made, looks like 3 layers. wool on outside , water proof membrane between a fleecy lining which is compfortable on the head. It has a small stylish sealskinz logo.The large size fits a man head and can be pulled over the ears. I like the navy blue shade. Would definately recommend this beanie. It's going to be perfect for the winter months.

Bought this beanie to have a waterproof/windproof hat for mountaineering and it delivers. It is warm, totally waterproof and as far as I can tell totally windproof too. It is a bit of a tight fit and I dont have a big melon but its good and snugg which is exactly what I wanted.
Only some minor down-sides to point out; the membrane rustles a little but its not so noticable when worn. There is a label on the read (not shown in the photos) that annoys me as its just an advert for the membrane material but protrudes out and thus is quite noticable. I hesitate to cut it off.
Bought from Packyourbags Travel Store and it arraved the next day despite the 4-5 day estimate. Very satisfied.
All-in-all, great product, performs very well. Would have been 5 star if it wasnt for that label.

Great bit of kit
Awsome bit of kit! Fast delivery. Bone dry head and warm too, no messing! These hats are realy top notch guys, but that's just part and parcel with 'seal skinz' gear.

The SealSkinz Beanie Hat is excellant, its very warm and keeps your head dry. Be warned tho, it's a snug fit so keep that in mind when choosing the size.

Hat size
Reading the previous feedback from buyers I went for XXL rather than my normal XL. Glad I did as it fits well and is a good quality product.
