Author doesn't keep the facts straight 8 Aug 2007
By Kevin G. Jones - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I awaited the release of this book for months and maybe that is part of my disappointment. The book had little of the constant action of the earlier books in the series. The biggest disappointment was when the author mentioned David Tangretti's father as "Hank Tangretti" on page 159. David's father was Bill Tangretti, who was on Koh Tang in Seals the Warrior Breed - In Harm's Way. Bill has a half brother Hank Richardson.
The fact the author did not remember or do his research is disappointing. Also the fact this book seemed to take more than a few shots at President Bush seemed out of line. If there is another book published I will buy it more for the fact I have all eleven and to keep the set going. I hope the author gets feed back like this and will do a better job on the next book.

SEALs as The 6:00 O'clock News 25 Feb 2008
By Dave in Missouri - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
Riker drops the ball on this one.
From what has BEEN an excellent series about brave and honorable Navy SEALs fighting America's battles, this time Riker degenerates into the same type of Loony-Left anti-George Bush/anti-war BS that can be found by turning on any 6:00 O'clock network news program.

Riker regurgitates the usual "Blood for Oil, Bush did it for his rich Oil buddies" story line that's so beloved by the Far Left.
Riker earned a single star for this junk, and just may have lost a very faithful reader.
I want my eight bucks back, and Riker may not get my money for a future book.

Losing appeal. 1 Feb 2008
By John H. Dreisch - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
After reading the two published reviews, I have decided not to continue with the purchase of Mr. Riker's books.
His Bush-bashing sounds very Clintonesque which I find reprehensible.
