**Second Edition** January 27, 2013

A jealous witch, a strange spell. Two gorgeous guys and a
girl.

When Tristan asks the archaeology team to open the sealed
door found in a tunnel below his house, where Chloe lives, a surprise awaits
him.

Trouble is on the horizon from a surprising source. Tristan,
Chloe, and Oliver think they have encountered enough magic to have grown used
to it by now, but they find this latest brush with witchcraft almost too much
to bear.

Who is Lily and better still who is Anna?

As everyday life goes on between magical happenings, we hear
from Oliver and Tristan. Oliver describes his experiences and we find out more
about how he really feels.

The Sealed Door has some interesting revelations about
Tristan's past. He finds himself with emotions he never expected to feel. He
surprises his friends by his actions; this is not the Tristan we have come to
know.

When yet another experience from the past catches up with
Tristan, and the only thing that will fix things is another time travel
adventure.

The love story continues and Chloe finds herself taking her
relationships with Oliver and Tristan to a new level. With a twist in the
ending, The Sealed Door is sprinkled with love, magic, romance, danger and the
unexpected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taking the series to the next level 23 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I've now read four books in the Seven Spell series. There's only one more in the series out at the moment, but hopefully there's going to be some more coming soon. And as a consolation, I've just discovered the author has released Book 2 in her Ruthin series, so at least I have another great story to read while I wait.

So back to The Sealed Door. This one takes it all up a notch - the romance, the magic, the mystery and of course the time travel. There's another time paradox for the friends to overcome, this time with a new twist. Witchcraft and the Magi play a new role in the challenges they face, and the romance starts to sizzle as Chloe takes a big step into the adult world.
The author also adds a new slant, with the voices of Tristan and Oliver providing some of the narrative, which worked well and gave a nice new dimension to the story.

Some old characters return, some minor characters turn out to be not quite what we thought, and Tristan encounters an ex-flame, from (gulp) almost a century ago.

As with The Seven Spell, I would recommend you start this series from the beginning. Although I think you could read this as an independent story as far as the plot line goes, the real enjoyment comes from the wonderful talent Tessa Stokes has for character development, which makes you root for the kids with all your heart.

I'm moving straight on to The Task. And then I know I'm going to get withdrawal from Chloe, Tristan and Oliver while I wait for the next volume to come out.

The Sealed Door, Book #4 in her series "The Seven Spell Saga," continues following the romance and adventure of Chloe, Oliver and Tristan. The love triangle among these main characters heats up and lines are crossed in this book. The kisses are passionate, but the lovin' doesn't stop there! The magic, portals and adventures that take place in both the past and present are not to be missed. Stokes' gift is to write in such a way that the reader feels swept away in the events, almost dream-like in experience, until you find yourself reading into the wee hours of the night--way past a respectable bedtime! I went to work sleepy a couple days in a row, but it was well worth it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fascinating Paranormal Romance 29 Nov 2011
By Annie
Format:Kindle Edition
In the fourth book of The Seven Spell Saga, "The Sealed Door," a mysterious tunnel is discovered underneath the house where Tristan lives. An archaeology team comes to investigate, and when they open the sealed door, unexpected things happen as time bends and romantic partnerships evolve.

Chloe is in love with both Oliver and Tristan. Her feelings for them are warm and intense, and we watch with fascination as a delicate dance between partners commences, while magical events unfold all around them.

A door, a fountain, a tunnel-chamber, a white cat, a gold ring. These are just a few of the mysteries that author Tessa Stokes explores, just as Chloe, Tristan and Oliver explore their feelings for one another. I immediately got caught up in the dreamscape of the novel and carried away on gentle waves of emotion and language.

Few describe falling in love better: "It gave me an intense feeling; it was like dissolving and drifting into the atmosphere, whatever was going on with us, it was addictive."

As the characters step into the water feature and travel backward in time, so too the reader steps into a dream world where feelings play like delicate music and romance perfumes the air. The Middle Ages are described in intricate detail - you see cupboards, baskets, cloaks - and this world is very real and at the same time otherworldly, timeless.

The story takes unexpected turns into time travel, wizardry and witchcraft, but the steamy love scenes and romantic entanglements keep you riveted to the page.

In "The Sealed Door," we meet a character named Lily who has a spell cast on her, in the same way we have a spell cast on us by this moving, magical romance. Highly recommended.
