Ordered this because I was running out of room - some forums said that the max size of drive for my aging G5 PowerMac was 500gig - but others said that it could take more. So I ordered on impulse! Glad I did - happy to report all is working nicely.

Died within 60 days on installing
Put this into my machine as a backup drive to run in RAID array and it died with "Smart status Bad" within 45 days and died completely within 60. Read more

Failed after a year of use
I wouldnt recommend this drive, it failed on my system after just over a year of use. Luckily it lived long enough after the initial crash for me to get my data off it. Read more
