Bought this Hard Drive on 2008 as a secondary Hard Drive for extra storage on my old Dell 4500. Have now had this Hard Drive for nearly two years and it has worked perfectly all the time.
I recall it got delivered before expected and nicely packaged, wrapped with extra protection to avoid damage in transit. Would recommend both the item and the supplier to anyone.

I purchased two of these hard drives at the recommendation of an IT colleague at work. I highly recommend this HD, very quite and efficient. After two years one of them went out on me. I sent it back to Seagate and within a week I had a repaired HD....I really like the warranty program Seagate offers and their customer service.

The quality of this drive is very poor. This drive worked great for about a month and started to fail. After a short time the drive shorted and crashed...

SeaGate Western Digital make fine products. This hard drive is doing what it's supposed to do: keep my data intact and not fail. So far, it's been over a year now, it's doing just that.
I've always ordered SeaGate Western Digital and I'll continue to do so in the future. |
