5.0 out of 5 stars Welds you to the chair. Window into the lawyers mind. ., 1 Sep 1999
By A Customer
From my perspective (a practicing criminal trial specialist, having tried notorious criminal cases and one which captured the eyes of the national media, (Eric Douglas Trial)I can say that this book does it all. Most impressive is the way Bugliosi spells out every detail of his thought process and his trial arguments. The reader feels privileged to know how the completely candid, borderline egomaniacal, Bugliosi, thinks about the case, the characters and the defendant. This is a master's manual on how to try a case, and the excruciating work it takes to win one.

3.0 out of 5 stars First part good, 18 Aug 1999
By A Customer
The first part of _And the Sea Will Tell_ is engrossing and spooky: the troubled boyfriend, the ditsy girlfriend, the yacht-class couple, the nasty little island, the disappearance. But the courtroom portions become a bit tedious. I disagree with the book's cover that the ending was "stunning." Despite Henderson's efforts to make it suspenseful, the last 1/3 of the book was predictable.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fascinating tale well told by Mr, Bugliosi., 13 Aug 1999
By A Customer
This is a haunting and unpredictable story, very well written, as is standard for the author. I did lose much respect for him, however, as I do believe that "Jennifer" is just as guilty as her friend, and she found freedom she doesn't deserve only through the efforts of a very competent and wily attorney.
