We bought one of these when travelling 7 years ago and we used it a lot. It was great when travelling, to keep our zip-together sleeping bags cleaner and avoid the sweaty feel of a sleeping bag and also in hostels with dodgy-looking bedding. It also adds an extra warmth layer, especially good when camping. But we've acutally used it more when staying with friends and relatives - to save them washing double linen when we stay only one night. However after such use (and lots of washing) the material started to rip easily and fray at the seams. We tried to repair it but it was no good as the material had degraded.
So, we bought this one and we are equally happy with it. My husband is 6 foot 2 inches, so it is not really long enough but there are none on the market longer. But it is a good width, folds up easily and dries in no time at all. I have a cotton single one, but the silk is more compact, dries quicker, feels nicer and moves more freely when you roll over.

I wish they had posted a size for this: 70X70 inch. Witch means if you are 6ft tall you might find it short. The silk is fantastic and great to use in hotel beds or for camping. However the drapes do not have any opening on the sides so if you are going to reach to your feet, the whole thing, including pillows will follow you and you will have to redo the bed. But what a nice texture, so luxurious!

I bought this very light and warm liner, after being interested in a sleeping bag liner for a while. Originally I was going to get a fleece liner but heard the silk liner was in fact warmer and much better, even though more expensive. I used it on a recent new years camping trip...and yes it was cold outside, but cosy and snug in the sleeping bag. Would definately recommend it....BUT make sure you don't have sharp toenails....you'll end up with it in shreds!!! Oh almost forgot...postage was quick and reliable.

    Awesome liner 4 Nov 2011

I used this liner often on a rugged and lengthy trip through China. It is a lifesaver. It packs very light and small, is long enough to be very comfortable even for someone fairly tall, and is essentially a sleep sack and pillow cover in one. It was fine in hot conditions, as it breathes, and insulating and warming in cold conditions. The texture is silky and not in the least scratchy. I especially loved it when we had to take a particularly filthy sleeper car for one long train ride, and it kept me from any contact with the truly disgusting bedding and pillow on the sleeper. I am not traveling anywhere without it again.

Bought this as a gift for my brother before he embarks on a 6 month backpacking trip through Central and South America. He uses this all the time either in his sleeping bag on at a hostile. Very lightweight and easy to pack!

I tore up my ones without the panels, so this is perfect for me. The panels dry as quickly as the silk part. I've used liners since almost everyday since the end of 2007! They're cheaper than silk sheets!

This is great, light and comfortable to sleep in. I'm going to take it on the Camino de Santiago.
