5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable warm robust liner 15 Nov 2010
    By Ekij
    Amazon Verified Purchase
    Sack Size 14cm tall * 7 cm diameter [5½" * 2¾"]
    weight 125g [~4.5 oz]

The dimensions (for the mummy version) are rated at:
    Length 185cm [6' 1"]
    Width at head 92cm [3' 0"]
    Width at foot 62 cm [2' 0"]
However my rough measurements came to:
    Length 180cm [5' 10"]
    width at head 89cm [2' 11"]
    width at foot 58cm [1' 11"]
Unlike most 'mummy' bags and liners, this liner actually maintins its width until the hips (80cm) and only narrows to the foot after that (over the last 100cm).

At 182cm [not quite 6'] tall I was worried that this might not be quite long enough, I was pleased to discover that it's still OK for me; however if I was much taller I'd want the 'long version' that "Sea to Summit" do (although 'long' is only available in rectangular, not in the mummy shape).

The silk liner is so thin you can see daylight through it and as a result I was expecting to find that it wasn't as warm as my fleece liner. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this is *not* the case. Sea to Summit claim "Adds up to 10 degrees of warmth" (unclear if that's °C or °F) and I certainly felt it was adding warmth to my bag at least as much as my much bulkier fleece liner does.

The manufacturer (Sea to Summit) describes the colour I received as "Eucalyptus" (a pleasant dark green), however the manufacturer also makes 5 other colours and I've not yet worked out if the colour is dependent on the style or random.

Although the liner is defined as "Machine washable" it's marked as 20°C. Most washing machines don't go below 30°C so I consider it handwash only. However thats not a big imposition as it's easy to wash and drys very quickly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peace of mind 28 Feb 2010
    Size Name:Standard
Found my silk liner very useful for use whilst traveling around southern India and being anxious about the general standards including cleansiness of bedding we might find in the hotels. As described, the liner was compact and light weight but also cool, roomy and comfortable. Feeling reassured it certainly aided a good night's sleep. Now I am keen to find a similar product for covering pillows!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for backpacking 1 Nov 2010
    Size Name:Standard
We were really happy to have this liners on our last trip. They're great because they're so tiny and useful.
Used them both indoors (in a sleeping wagon on a night train trip, hostels and cheap hotels) and outdoors (both in tents and in the open).
    They also look great;-)
And in summer they're not too hot.

3.0 out of 5 stars nice, durable 23 Aug 2008
    Size Name:Standard|Amazon Verified Purchase
used this on a 5 week pack backing sesh over europe. felt strong and durable - hardly takes up any room - about the size of half a toilet roll and the weight is the same. nice to use rather than dodgy sheets in the hostel from hell!

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and compact 29 Jun 2010

Excellent quality silk liner that is compact and comfortable (although the drawstring for the bag broke as soon as I took it out of the packet)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great lightweight product 10 Feb 2011
I wasn't sure whether to get this one or the one with the hood as I own a hooded sleeping bag. I went for this one as it was slightly lighter in weight. I'm 5ft 6" and the liner came way past my head so was just as good as having a hooded liner. I have used it a couple of times and it has been great! I an yet to take it travelling but I am confident it will stand the test of time and frequent use

5.0 out of 5 stars Silky sleep 21 Nov 2010

Actually bought this for someone else; I have the liner with pillow insert which is better for staying in a gite or albergue. It's warm and comfortable & thoroughly recommended.
