Following on from "The Matchmaker" from Lisa Plumley which was a story of Molly Crabtree. Molly and Marcus from that story follow through with many other characters to "The Scoundrel" which is Sarah Crabtree's story.

3 sisters. The Crabtree sisters, Molly, Sarah and Grace. All very strong free thinking ladies. All wanting to be independent.

Molly owns and runs her bakery.

Sarah is a school teacher.

Grace is involved in women's rights and runs a bicycle club for the ladies and helps with the newspaper when needed.

There is both Mr Crabtree who owns the newspaper and Mrs Crabtree who keeps the house and tries to encourage her girls to marry.

One down and 2 to go.

Sarah has a quiet different story to Molly and Daniel is so different to Marcus.

Daniel is a confirmed bachelor until his nephew comes on the scene.

It has some funny parts to it and the characters are lovable.

I am looking forward to Grace's story.
