About the Author
David Dorward was born and educated in Dundee. He graduated from the University of St Andrews where he went on to work as an administrator for over 30 years. He is married with two sons. Now retired, he lives in a small village near St Andrews. Among his other books are Scotlands Place-names and Dundee, Names, People and Places, both published by Mercat Press.
