An excellent affordable book for anyone who just wants to know how to ceilidh / Scottish dance. It gives detail on the various holds used, as well as numberous individual dances; ranging from the simple to complex. Well known dances such as the Gay Gorden, Strip the Willow and the Dashing White Sergeant are included, as well as not so well known ones. Variations of these dances are also indicated. There is something for every level of dancing talent; from beginners to advanced.

The book explains how to do a large number of Scottish ceilidh dances (which isn't immediately apparent from the preview that you can get on the web page). As a result I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it.

I only do ceilidh dancing once or twice a year and find it a useful reference book to remind me of how the dance goes. Definitely worth the money.

The book was received in good time and in good condition.
