So, with the release of the film (which is an amazing film by Edgar Wright by the way) there usually a offical game that goes with it. Often they are quick rushed games. Scott Pilgrim is an exception.
One of the the main reasons. THIS SOUNDTRACK. No, this is a pumping, powerful soundtrack full of nostalgia and references to many other games. Anamanaguchi are an amazing chiptune band and this is one of their finest works. Being a bit honest, the songs are short than you would want them to be, but that can be fixed with audacity (if your computer literate enough).
The songs for each are relative to what the Level is, or what each evil ex is. Like "Leave the past behind" links in since Scott goes on a wilderness sabatical (World 6 when Negascott is the boss), and "Just Like in the movies" relates very nicely with World 2 (The film set) since it feels like a classic film.
My Favourite Tracks are:
Another Winter
Bollywood
Rox 300
Party Stronger
If you have brought the game (either on PSN or XBLA) i would seriously consider buying this.
Also maybe we can get this into the UK charts, at one stage, this was outselling Katy Perry's New Album. That is a rare thing for any video game soundtrack.
