After Volume 1 I simply had to read Volume 2.
You'd like to know Scotland's history?! This is the book you need (and Vol.1). A really entertaining way to learn about Scotland's history !! Not dusty or boring, not confusing and museum-like!!
I am surprised though to find stereotypes and even some prejudices about Scotland/Scots that I simply cannot confirm. I have been visiting Scotland over and over again for more than 10 years, have met a lot of different people - and never found a stingy one! Generous in many ways, especially when it comes to smiles, good stories, heart and soul - and lots lots more :-)
