I was looking for a photographic book of some of Scotland's best sights to give as a present and this is perfect. The size is a little smaller than expected but the rest is perfect. Lots of pictures, one each page, and just the name of the place as description so I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an overview of Scotland best panoramas.

I come to Scotland regularly in order to see all these views in real live and I love this country. I bought the book as a gift to a friend whose antecedents lie in Scotland just to give him a tast of what there is to enjoy. I found it a wonderful representation of all the beauty that is to be found in Colin Baxter's Scotland. The quality of the book itself is wonderful as well, good paper, great colours and last but not least...quick delivery. I can truly recommend this.

This book did what it says in the title. I bought it as a present for a French lady who speaks and reads no English so the lovely photographs spoke for themselves.
I purposely chose a small sized book so cannot bemoan the fact that some of the photographs would naturally have been a lot more dramatic if they had been larger.
There was not much writing, which suited my purposes and for the price, I consider the book to have been money well-spent. The recipient of the book certainly appreciated the flavour it gave her of Scotland.
