The best product around for protecting your sofa. But it always concerns me when products like this come with so many warnings about the horrible chemicals they contain.
A recommended product but do use it in a well ventilated area.

In the past we have paid extra for Scotchguard protection on new car upholstery. This time we decided to cut costs and DIY.
On reading the instructions, we were warned that getting this stuff on the plastic around the fabric areas might cause discolouration. Our front seats are not removable and basically surrounded with various plastics.
We isolated an inconspicuous area, Masked and newspapered it, gave it a puff and waited.
Sho-nuff! Half an hour later, there was a pale burgundy mist on the plastic seat base adjoining the fabric. We did not want that anywhere else.
We bought a really good pair of custom seat covers and still saved money. The Scotchguard will get used on upholstered furniture and trench coats where it does a great job!
