Scotchgard Protectors form an invisible barrier which repels water-based liquid such as rain, wine and coffee and helps protect against stains. Trust Scotchgard Protectors to protect your clothes or soft furnishings, helping them stay looking new and clean for longer. But without altering the look, feel or breath ability of fabrics. TOP TIP: Test the product on an inconspicuous area and allow to dry for 12 hours, this will enable you to check the colourfastness of the material and ensure that the material is not affected in any way. Maintains and protects the luxurious, quality look and feel of leather, suede and texile clothing! Scotchgard Protector forms an invisible barrier and protects natural materials (leather, suede, alcantra, fabric...) from liquids such as wine and coffee, or from grease stains. Easy cleaning, garments should keep their original looks for longer.
Directions
Read and carefully follow all instructions. Use only on clean dry materials: textile, fabrics, wool, natural fibres, natural leather, suede, nubuck and alcantra. Make a test on a small inconspicuous area and allow to dry for 12 hours to test for colour fastness and that the material is not affected in any way. Shake the can well. Holding upright, spray material evenly at 20cm (8 inches) from the surface. Spray uniformly from side to side and then from top to bottom. Do not saturate. A second application in the same manner will provide increased protection. Allow to dry for 12 hours before use. Reapply after every cleaning to maintain and rejuvenate repellency. Do not use on varnished leather, imitation leather, plastic or rubber. Use in well ventilated area. Do not breath in the gas, fumes vapour or spray. Avoid contact with skin, wash any splashes immediately with plenty of soap and water. It is advisable to wear rubber gloves to avoid contact with the product. Keep out of reach of children.

This product is OK but nothing too impressive. I bought it to clean a couch which had got quite dirty and I was expecting much better results. The couch only looks mildy cleaner than it did prior to cleaning. The product is easy to apply but not so easy to clean off and the smell lingers for a long time after the application.

Have tried for a long time to get a stain from the back seat of my car (details of the origin of the stain is irrelevant) and i was slightly skeptical when i bought this
was really pleasently surprised that it worked a treat, needed several applications but it did the job in the end.

A good product, brightens your fabric, gives it a clean look, removes stains, the fabric will stay a little damp for a short while after use. Perhaps not suitable for extremly stubborn ones. Good to have at hand, quick, efficient and simple.
