This is the narrow tape - 12mm is about 1/2 inch (about the width of your pinky finger) and it really is next-to invisible when used on gift wrapping, and to repair bits of paper.
If you want to wrap parcels, I would strongly advise that you get a wider tape, although Scotch Magic is good and works fine on parcels for posting which will go outside.
