Fun story continued 22 Aug. 2013
By John Esche - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Latest episode (all too thin - MUCH better when several of these individual pamphlets are packaged together) of a beautifully illustrated, intriguingly written graphic novel set in Renaissance Italy. The more history you know, the better the story resonates.
THE SAGA CONTINUES 24 Nov. 2013
By SCOTT W SCHUMACK - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
The narrative wanders from the simple, driving plot line of the earlier volumes, but it's still terrific, beautifully drawn adventure in the Sabatini/Dumas mold, and a perfect antidote to insipid American comics.
