Children's animated adventure following Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang as they investigate strange goings-on. This time round they are competing in the Wolrd Invitational Games when an ancient statue comes alive and Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma must bring it down before the whole event is ruined.

What is not made clear in the description of this DVD is that only a very small part of it is modern Scooby Doo, the rest is ancient, I would say 70s.
The first 23 minutes of this DVD is a modern cartoon of Scooby and the gang, as per the description of the DVD. This episode is ok, but no where near as good as many of the modern Scooby DVDs.
The rest of the advertised 113 minutes is 4 70s episodes of the "Laff-alympics", which barely even features Sccoby Doo really, but lots of other old cartoon characters such as Yogi Bear, Snagglepuss and Dick Dastardly, none of whom my 7yo has even heard of!
My daughter switched it off after 15 minutes of the 70s episodes, and has not bothered to put the DVD on again.
Do not buy this DVD, it's a total waste of money, go for one of the proper feature length DVDs such as The Witch's Ghost or Where's my Mummy. The description of this DVD needs updating frankly!

Great DVD
My some loves Scooby Doo and this DVD did not dissapoint I just hope he continues to like retro cartoon characters.

Scooby Doo Spooky Games
This one contains a lot of old material with other toon stars that my kids don't know anymore. The first episode is good. They didn't care to watch the old stuff.

Not fantastically impressive ... for scooby
The first 20 odd minutes is absolutely fabulously fantastic but the rest is absolute rubbish. In someone else's point of view I would buy it for the first part.
