Delivered in double quick time, plus extra episodes of the classic seventies Laffa Lympics. Top recommendation to all Scooby fans and indeed hanna barbara lovers. Thank you for the opportunity to relive my childhood.

Not sure why the DVD isn't labelled that there are four Laff-A-Lympics episodes on it; the Laff-A-Lympics was a series from 1977 in which Scooby-Doo took part in a Wacky Races-style Olympics. Also appearing in the series were Yogi Bear, Captain Caveman, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw - all classic characters not really seen anymore.

It was nice to seat down, relax and watch family movie together, especially that kids are still excited about Olympics and Paralympics, they even visited one of the events in Stratford Olympic Park on a school trip, so it was actually better to watch it now than before.

My daughter watched the first 20 something minutes of all new "Spooky Games" with excitement when 1000 year old statue came to life and threatened to ruin the whole World Invitation Games event where Shaggy was a contestant, even though she has never been Scooby-Doo fan before.

The rest of the DVD contains older "Laff-A-Lympics" featuring not only Scooby-Doo but also other Hana-Barbera characters from circa 1970-1980: Yogi Bear, Flinstones, Pink Panther just to mention few. There were: Yogi-Yahooeys, Scoobie-Doobies and Really Rottens competing between each other in the events all over the globe. My daughter liked this bit a little less than the first part, mostly because of the colours and I can't blame her, they did not look too impressive on our large screen. Although the quality was obviously not so good as the new episodes, it is a part of the history, part of my childhood as well and I'm happy I got a chance to see it again, this time with my own kids.

What is not made clear in the description of this DVD is that only a very small part of it is modern Scooby Doo, the rest is ancient, I would say 70s.

The first 23 minutes of this DVD is a modern cartoon of Scooby and the gang, as per the description of the DVD. This episode is ok, but no where near as good as many of the modern Scooby DVDs.

The rest of the advertised 113 minutes is 4 70s episodes of the "Laff-alympics", which barely even features Sccoby Doo really, but lots of other old cartoon characters such as Yogi Bear, Snagglepuss and Dick Dastardly, none of whom my 7yo has even heard of!

My daughter switched it off after 15 minutes of the 70s episodes, and has not bothered to put the DVD on again.

Do not buy this DVD, it's a total waste of money, go for one of the proper feature length DVDs such as The Witch's Ghost or Where's my Mummy. The description of this DVD needs updating frankly!

The first episode is modern Scooby. More “What’s New” than “Inc”
It was ok. Bit similar to at least a couple of other recent stories.
The rest of the DVD is made up by dreadful 1977 episodes of “"Laff-alympics",
which for some reason have a fake Dick Dastardly and Muttley!
Also, minimal Scooby content.

The cover is VERY misleading and the blame is Warner’s, not Amazon’s

I was very disappointed when watching this DVD because the product description didn't say that there was only 1 modern scooby doo episode on it. All the other episodes have older Disney characters in them (in the older disney style) which my 6 year old son had no idea who they were & he turned it off after 20 mins which is unusual for him because he usually loves scooby doo.
