Although it can be argued that 'Scissors' is not a widely known film, for those who enjoy psychological thrillers, Scissors is well worth tracking down.
Sharon Stone plays Angela Anderson, a highly unstable and sexually repressed woman in her mid twenties. Whilst seemingly able to live with her unstability, Angela's world is turned upside down when she sexually molested in the lift of her apartment block. Following her attack, Angela is introduced to the twin brothers who live next door (both played by Steve Railsbrack), one of which she grows to fear, whilst an attraction develops between her and the other brother. Confronted with these feelings and haunted by the memory of her attack, Angelas instability begins to deepen. After being lured to a mysterious appartment, the wider forces behind Angela's growing instabilty are revealed.
Scissors proved to be both intense and thought provoking. The character played by Sharon Stone, would interest many who are interested by psychology. Well worth a watch.
