I bought this product as I had been using SIS Go gels during training for the Dublin marathon last Monday, Oct. 31st !! It was my first marathon & I was nervous but the belt worked brilliantly & I have no problem with recommending it to other runners. I used it to carry 8 gels which as it turns out I did not need but I was being cautious. It was a little heavy to begin with but I tightened it & found it sat comfortably on my front as I went round the course. The little pouch was also great for carrying jelly beans, piece of choc & rehydrating powders so leaving my hands free. I wish I had had it for the long training runs. Best wishes to everyone out there training for a marathon at the moment - it is an awesome experience to cross that finish line, go go go !!!

Great belt. Even loaded up with gels (which makes it really quite heavy) a debit card and travel card, a £20 note, a couple of coins and a key (the kit I needed for this year's London Marathon) the belt doesn't move around and simply behaves itself. In use (yes, all 26 miles) the gels didn't work free and yet I could get them out reasonably easily in spite of being tired and uncoordinated. The belt passed the test with flying colours.
Unfortunately the gels didn't. I tried the SIS Go-Gel (Box of 15 Tropical). They didn't give me any energy at all! I still had half a belt full by the end of the marathon even though I'd eaten numerous orange segments, bananas, jelly snakes, jelly babies, chocolate brownies, and bottles of water, because I simply didn't feel refreshed from the gels at all. Suggest you try a different make of gel.

This belt is perfect for long distance running. Its comfortable and lightweight for carrying gels and sweets.
The front case is okay for carrying keys and/or a mobile but nothing too bulky or heavy. Only downside is the case could do with some padding.

Great piece of lightweight reliable kit, used for this years Yorkshiremanan Off Road Marathon in September, never let me down, good tight gel straps and handy small pocket. Easy belt secure and Very comfortable. Price is right for this kit.

Completely satisfied with this belt. I'd never used one before running this year's London Marathon, but after 30+ years of running decided I needed all the help I could get this time and found it very comfortable even with a full load of 8 Lucozade gels - unnoticeable even. The pouch was ideal for food bars, tubes of deep heat etc. Easy to fit & move around (I wore it with the pouch & gels at my back, like a bum bag, and slid it round to access the pouch, though the gels were easy to extract without moving it). Gels were held securely, though the larger SIS gels were more difficult to accommodate and, I would think, to extract on the run, though I didn't use them. It was delivered promptly and well packaged and I can fully recommend it and the supplier.

After using this a few times on my training runs, I was very disappointed when, on using it for the first time in a race; the stitching at the buckle fell apart as I was standing at the start line of the Dublin Marathon, causing me to have to tie a knot in the belt as if it was a piece of twine.

One of the loops on my belt is slightly larger than the rest, which caused one of my energy gels to slip out and get lost at some point along the way during the race.

Despite those two flaws, it did what it was supposed to do; hold energy gels during the race.

Gift for my wife, I also have the same gel belt, have ran several marathons and training runs with it, no movement no twisting of belt, carries your gels and the pocket is really handy too:)

I've bought this for the London Marathon to help with carrying a number of gels round (as well as my inhaler) and it's quite simply excellent value. It carries up to 8 Energy Gels in the slots as well as whatever you want to carry about in the pouch, such as keys etc or more gels. It's really adjustable too, not being a particularly super skinny chap as I am it fit just fine after some adjustment and quite simply when wearing it you barely realise that it is actually on, which is really great, there's nothing more annoying when running than feeling something shaking in your pocket or holding a bottle that unbalances you just slightly enough for you to get irritated.

Great product, would recommend.
