This is an excellent, extremely readable introduction to the principles and practice of homeopathy. The author takes a measured approach to the subject, higlighting the principal flaws of the allopathic system and presenting systematic and logical arguments for accepting an alternative founded on priciples derived from observations of natural healing mechanisms, and proved as to its effectiveness through the countless people to whom it has provided dramatic and lasting improvements in well-being.
The author is unretreating in his manner, never taking the easy way out, and while boldly treading beyond the narrow-minded confines of conventional thinking, nevertheless always presents cogent , or at the very least thought-provoking, scientific arguments as to why this is so.
The allopathic establishment can only be content with a system of health that undergoes constant paradigm shifts, a constant renewal of ideas. However, when a system of medicine already claims to know the healing mechanism, having attained the limit of such renewal, this is unacceptable, even though it is verified time and again in practice. Vithoulkas, through this book, has unlocked the gates of greater insight to such narrow-mindedness. When we see enough open-minded individuals walking through, he will have met his goal.
