SF & Fantasy Artists of the 20th Century 18 Mar 2009
By Richard E. Ayers - Published on
Format: Hardcover
I'd highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in SF or fantasy art--a field in which Jane is an acknowledged expert. In her overview, I like how she puts things in a broader context than the average collector is likely to have (certainly true in my case). I now have a clearer understanding of how and why some things have happened over the last couple of decades. Of course the meat of the book is in the artists biographies and a listing of published works which are detailed, interesting and comprehensive. Major American and British awards are also listed. This clearly took a great deal of work and attention to detail. Congratulations on a fine product.
