How rare it is for an artist to be able to generate a B-Sides compilation, and its quality to be equal with that of a greatest hits album? Not many could pull that off, especially considering the fact that this collection came just 5 years into Suede's career. Even more impressive, is that it's a 27-song 2-disc opus, the majority of which is top notch material. "Sci-fi lullabies" is a monumental music release in many ways: it is perhaps the only record of the last decades that could easily be a band's finest moment in their discography, without being a standard album release but a gathering of songs that accompanied regular single releases. It cannot get any better than this, here is the ultimate proof that Suede have been - and still are - Britain's most exciting and talented music group of the britpop era. Without exaggeration, this is a must-have. Indulge selfishly!
