I just needed to state my appreciation for this ace product which I've been road-testing for the last six months and will stick to from now on. I'm 46 and have been turning steadily grey over the last six years - in some places am actually quite white. Luckily I still have a full head of hair, but have always needed to keep it very short to avoid the wiry & tired-looking hair which I would otherwise be prone to. Have been using quite a few silver shampoos over the last couple of years as the standard shampoos just don't do it anymore, which struggle to wash out the yellow & brassy tones and give my hair some proper healthy shine. Problem I've always found is that the specialist silver shampoos are either loaded with moisturizing agents, leaving my hair looking limp and floppy, or are overdosed on optical brighteners, which do the trick for a day or two but don't last the course. This Schwarzkopf product kicks both these issues into touch - leaves my hair soft and manageable and keeps the greys and whites looking fresh and shiny. It's expensive if brought from the salon (around £15) but it can be had online (as here) for under a tenner. I shampoo once a week, using it sparingly and washing twice, and it does the job beautifully, cheers Schwarzkopf!

Just had to write a review on this as am amazed no one else has! Bought this product a couple of years ago and have used it on and off since then (had a spell of being brunette so obviously didn't use it then!).
The product is a deep purple colour when it comes out of the bottle and doesn't lather much - but is REALLY good at toning the yellowing colour that blondes can go, into a lovely brighter, paler / cooler blonde colour. Even after just the one wash (I use it about once a week and tend to leave it on for a few minutes).
It has been particularly good for me at the minute as I got a VERY bad colour done by a hairdressers (blonde and light brown highlights which did not take well at all - was left a really funny gingery colour in places) and this has amazingly toned down all the gingery bits and just made the blonde a bit brighter and a nicer shade.
Lasts for a long time as well and is not very expensive compared to some other professional products on the market.
Definatly worth the purchase.

Ive found this shampoo great, I use it when necessary, when may hair is starting to look yellowish! And ive found my hair to be in a better condition too!

Cheaper shampoos do just as good job
I've had a lot cheaper than this that do the same job although this does work but as with other blue shampoos, if you over use it it will leave your hair with a blue tint

nice one
Very good for light blond. I was very afraid to use it, but now I am glad I have it. My gold/yellowish colour is gone and I have lovely ash kind of cold blonde.

Great product and great price!
Decent price shampoo and the quality is fantastic. I have recently bleached my hair white blonde all over, and this shampoo keeps my hair looking cool rather than yellow!

Perfect solution to brassy blonde highlights
