This gives a good history of the bank and covered what I wanted to know about the bank during WW1. The book was delivered in shop condition-beautiful! Some of the terminology will be understood mainly by those in the banking field.

Its a heavy read. I divide every book into one of 2 categories. Heavy reading and easy reading. I prefer easy reading. Its more enjoyable. Having said for anybody interested in money and finance and banking such as myself its a good read. I have always been interested in the name Schroder and now I know how they got to be a fine banking house. My copy is perfect, almost brand new.
