I bought one of these many years ago and the first thing you notice is the weight - it's really heavy to lift, but you don't notice that once it's on your back. The leather is thick and will stand up to any amount of abuse, unlike a thinner Belstaff I have. It's an ideal winter general knocking-about jacket that you throw and just never need to worry about leaning or brushing against something which might damage it. If Superman wore a jacket, this would be the one. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the pockets (2 hip and 2 inner) didn't have zips or any other closure, but the inner pockets are deep enough that things won't fall out unless you're upside down.
