Product Description

Shields Gazette, January 4, 2006

Schoolfrenz is a complicated, multi-stranded story, with lots of detail and dialogue that zips along at mach speed.

Product Description

The lives of four apparently unconnected people change forever when they visit the school reunion Internet site - Schoolfrenz.

Richard Bard has just been released from prison. He believes this time he really is going straight until he encounters someone who reminds him he has an old teenage score to settle.

Following the death of her parents Georgina Haywell is shocked to discover she was adopted at birth. The quest to find her natural mother and father leads to a more disturbing truth, and now she wants revenge.

David Sterry heads an architect's practice. His working and domestic life begins to fall apart when his nemesis from 20 years ago attempts to contact him.

Shirley Bonnett is content with her life in Australia until her husband is viciously killed. Dissatisfied with police progress, her own investigation leads her to Tyneside and a schoolboy gang called the Mag7.

As the four pursue their personal causes, they visit Schoolfrenz and a common past emerges.
The present is a tale of surprises, and the future holds retribution and murder.

I'm so glad to have discovered this author's books!

A chance meeting of two old school friends triggers a campaign of revenge and murder. As the cleverly woven plot unfolds the reader is gripped to the end, taunted by the questions:

Who raped Judy? What is the MF Trust fund? Was our villain a teenage scapegoat? Just who is Georgina's father? How will it all end for David Sterry?

This book has it all: an intriguing plot, great characterisation with perceptive emotional depth, a chilling look at justice and revenge and a love interest to boot. The real joy of this book, however, is that it is all utterly plausible.

A very satisfying unputdownable read - highly recommended!

Another great book from this author! An intriguing plot which keeps you guessing until the end. Three memorable characters. A definite baddy to hate from the start, clever at disguise and evading capture. A young girl searching for truth about her mother. A seemingly likeable guy who may have a terrible past.

From the first murder to the fight climax, enjoyable through every twist and turn. Hailing from the North East of England, I especially appreciated the Tyneside location, although this is by no means central to the enjoyment of this novel.
