Format:Audio CD
This is a great album with some terrific classic rock songs on, but they could have included some more of ACDC's songs that were featured in the film. Plus, what happened to the school of rock songs: "The legend of the rent" and "I am really ticked off!" Even though I miss some songs, buy this soundtrack because it is really good.

After seeing the movie had to buy this, and I am a little dissapointed with it, the film had so many great tracks that are not included here (There were at least 3 differed AC DC tracks, including 'Back in Black' which was played for a decent amount of time.
Another dissapointment was the choice of Darkness track, 'Black Shuck' (the track used on the film) is in my opinion the best Darckness have ever done!!! instead they include 'Growing on me' a track which is majorly overplayed.

In all this is good album, but it could have been so much better

What can i say? This album really does rock in every sense of the word. Its a great sound track to a great movie which i would highly recommend. The track list is perfect with the odd extract from the legend that is Jack Black. These extracts are amusing to start with but to become a bit annoying after the fifth time listening. The best suprise in this album are the two tracks from the band featured as "School of Rocks" main rival, "No Vacancy". These guys really rock. The song 'fight' is a fast pased anthem that i can really get into. And the other song "Heal me, I heartsick" truely is one of the best songs I have ever heard. The rest of the great featured artists are a great mix. Well worth your money, especially at the low prices on Amazon. Something for every generation on this album. I recommend the film highly to.

School Of Rock cd
Absolutely brilliant. If you have seen the film, then this is a must! Great music that will get you tapping wherever you are. One of my favourite albums of all time. Read more

i loved every song expecialy on the edge of seventeen
plus its helping me learn to play the main song right,
because in the chord books they leave it up to you

cd was in really good condition, delivery a bit slow though. A few good tracks but not the best cd i have bought.
